  • According to our engineering experience for many years, the main characteristics of soybean wastewater are as follows:

    (1) Bean products were produced intermittently with uneven water quality and quantity;

    (2) BOD/COD was as high as 0.55-0.65, and C:N:P averaged 100:4.7:0.2;

    (3) SS is up to 1000-1500mg/L, and it is easy to form a scum layer on the surface of wastewater under anaerobic conditions;

    (4) High concentration wastewater is easy to acidify in anaerobic process;

    (5) Activated sludge method is easy to bulge sludge.


    We mainly use anaerobic (UASB, AF) + aerobic (SBR, oxidation pond) to treat soybean wastewater effectively.
