In addition to organic solvent degreasing, the main pollutants in other degreasing processes are pH, SS, COD, BOD, petroleum, chroma and so on, due to the degreasing agent consisting of alkaline substances, surfactants and corrosion inhibitors.

  • Degreasing Wastewater Treatment:


    Over the years, we have done sewage treatment for many metal surface treatment enterprises. The degreasing processes we encountered include organic solvent degreasing, chemical degreasing, electrochemical degreasing and ultrasonic degreasing. 


    In addition to organic solvent degreasing, the main pollutants in other degreasing processes are pH, SS, COD, BOD, petroleum, chroma and so on, due to the degreasing agent consisting of alkaline substances, surfactants and corrosion inhibitors.

    Usually we use the following treatment procedures to process:

    Wastewater→Oil separation tank→Regulating tank→Air flotation equipment→Anaerobic or hydrolysis acidification→Aerobic biochemistry→Precipitation→Filtration or adsorption→Discharge

    This kind of wastewater generally contains emulsified oil. CaCl2 demulsifier should be added before air flotation to remove the emulsified oil, which is beneficial to the removal of the emulsified oil by air flotation equipment. 


    When the concentration of COD in wastewater is high, anaerobic biochemical treatment can be used first. If it is not high, only aerobic biochemical treatment can be used.
