    According to our engineering experience for many years, the main characteristics of dairy wastewater are as follows:


    (1) Wastewater from milk refining, cheese, butter and milk beverage production;

    (2) BOD/COD > 0.5;

    (3) The seasonal variability of water quantity is great, and the water quality fluctuates greatly;

    (4) About 76% SS is volatile, P mainly exists in the form of organic matter or polyphosphate, and N in the form of organic nitrogen.


    We mainly use air flotation + aerobic treatment, direct aerobic treatment, anaerobic / hydrolytic acidification + aerobic treatment for dairy wastewater.
