According to our years of experience in chemical waste-water treatment, the main detergent products are LAS (sodium linear alkylbenzene sulfonate). The main wastewater is tank washing wastewater and washing wastewater. Most of the wastewater contains emulsified colloidal substances.

Waste-water characteristics: 

1) complex composition, containing surfactants, auxiliaries, bleaching agents and oil substances; 

2) pH is generally 8-11, some of the waste-water from LAS production is 4-6;

3) high concentration LAS can inhibit the growth of microorganisms, the wastewater is easy to foam, reduce the rate of reoxygenation, in addition, surfactants can emulsify other pollutants, increase the concentration of pollutants, resulting in indirect pollution.

We mainly combine physical and chemical treatment with biological treatment for wastewater from detergent production.

Biological treatment: 

UASB, Traditional plug-flow aeration tank, Biofilm process.
