    I. Working Principle:

    The device is designed according to two basic principles of adsorption (high efficiency) and catalytic combustion (energy saving). It works continuously in two gas paths, one catalytic combustion chamber and two adsorption beds are used alternately. 


    Firstly, organic waste gas is adsorbed by activated carbon. When it reaches saturation, it stops adsorbing. 


    Then, the organic matter is desorbed from activated carbon by hot air flow to regenerate activated carbon. The desorbed organic matter has been concentrated (the concentration is tens of times higher than before) and sent to catalytic combustion chamber to catalytic combustion to form carbon dioxide and water vapor. 


    When the concentration of organic waste gas is over 2000 ppm, the organic waste gas can maintain spontaneous combustion in the catalytic bed without external heating. The exhaust gas after combustion is discharged into the atmosphere, and most of it is sent to the adsorption bed for regeneration of activated carbon. 


    In this way, the thermal energy required for combustion and adsorption can be satisfied, and the purpose of energy saving can be achieved. After regeneration, it can enter the next adsorption; during desorption, the purification operation can be carried out in another adsorption bed, which is suitable for both continuous operation and interval operation.


    II. Applications:
    The purifying device is mainly used for the purification and odor elimination of volatile or leaked organic waste gases in painting, printing, electromechanical, household appliances, shoe-making, plastics and various chemical workshops. It is most suitable for low concentration organic waste gases which are not suitable for direct combustion or catalytic combustion and adsorption recovery treatment, especially in the case of large air volume, and can obtain satisfactory economical benefits and social benefits.

    III. Technical Performance and Characteristics:
    1. The equipment has advanced design principle, unique material, stable performance, simple structure, safety and reliability, energy-saving and labor-saving, and no secondary pollution. The equipment covers a small area and is light in weight. The adsorption bed adopts drawer structure, which is convenient for filling and replacement;

    2. The honeycomb fast-Form activated carbon, a new type of activated carbon adsorbent, is very suitable for use in high air volume;

    3. Noble metal catalysts supported on honeycomb ceramics have low resistance and high activity in catalytic combustion chamber. When the concentration of organic vapor is over 2000 ppm, the spontaneous combustion can be maintained;

    4. Low power consumption, because of the small resistance of the bed, low pressure fan can work, not only less power consumption, but also low noise. Electrical heating is needed to start catalytic combustion. After the start of catalytic combustion of organic compounds in the catalytic bed, the combustion heat is enough to maintain the temperature required for the reaction. At this time, the electric heating stops and the pneumatic electric heating time is about 1 hour;

    5. Activated carbon bed adsorbing organic waste gas is desorbed and regenerated with catalytic combustion waste gas, and the desorbed gas is sent to catalytic combustion chamber for purification without external energy, with low operating cost and remarkable energy saving effect.
